CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF A POS TERMINAL

All terminals offered by Pancretabank accept transactions with chip & pin cards. Transactions can be made by inserting the card into the device, contactless, with a virtual card or by typing the transaction.
There is an option to select a wired or wireless POS terminal, depending on your needs:
- If the business activity requires cashless transactions at the counter, a wired POS is the ideal solution.
- In the case where the POS needs to be portable (e.g. in restaurants, gas stations, etc.), the wireless POS terminal provides the necessary flexibility.
When choosing a POS terminal you must take into account:

  • Flexibility to accept different types of transactions;
  • Speed of transaction handling and ease to use;
  • Durability to daily use and guarantee provided;
  • Support service in the cases of transaction problems or terminal damage.
WHICH CARDS ARE SUPPORTED?
  • Credit, debit and pre-paid cards (Visa, V-Pay, MasterCard and Maestro);
  • The PAGRITIA GI Card of Pancretabank for Contract Farming, provided that the enterprise is listed in the participating businesses in the programme (e.g. gas station, trade of farming supplies);
  • The Solidarity Card.

HOW CAN YOU GET A POS TERMINAL FROM PANCRETABANK?
  1. Visit a Pancretabank branch having the following documents:
    • A business commencement certificate by the competent Tax Office containing any changes.
    • Form E3 for businesses keeping Class B accounting books.
    • Balance sheet/profit and loss account for businesses keeping Class C accounting books.
    • Periodic VAT statement (of the current year) or recent balance sheet (of the current year).
  2. You receive personalized pricing based on the needs and size of your enterprise.
  3. Your application is then assessed by the Bank.
  4. You are informed by an employee of the branch on the outcome of your request and you are asked to visit the branch to sign the contract.
  5. You receive the terminal at your store, ready for use, along with simple and detailed installation instructions.
