In the context of Law 4465/2017, Articles 9 to 14 (Government Gazette A 47 / 4.5.17) customers are allowed to change the Bank account kept in one credit institution to another of their choice.
Account change service is applicable to payment accounts through which payments and recurring orders are executed (i.e. payroll or pension accounts, standing orders etc.).
The process is simple. Customers should visit a branch of their preference and sign an authorization note. All necessary steps will then be taken to change the payment account.
