How to Upload a Transaction File

There are two types of files, with which you can execute a multiple transactions file:

1. Import payroll file

· Single withdrawal from debit account – Multiple transfers to third-party credit accounts held within Pancreta Bank

Type of files supported: .csv and .txt.  Instructions on how to create these files, please visit sections “Create .csv file” or “Create .txt file”.

2. Import a multiple transactions file

  • Multiple withdrawals from debit account – multiple transfers to third-party credit accounts held within Pancreta Bank or different bank.
  • Multiple withdrawals from debit account – multiple bill payments to public utility organizations.

Type of files supported: .xls. Instructions on how to create these files, please visit sections “Create .xls file”.

  • How to create a .csv file*

    The file must contain exactly 5 columns with the payroll data in the first sheet:

    • Column A will contain the number 1 on all lines.
    • Column B will contain the recipient account in IBAN form.
    • Column C will contain the recipient’s TIN.
    • Column D will contain the amount of the transaction. The amount may only have two decimals. Decimals must be separated only by a “,” (comma).
    • Column E may contain up to 70 characters with comments for the entry (you may fill in the full name and father’s name or any other information).

  • How to create a .txt file

    Each entry in the file must always be made up of the following:

    The fields must be limited with a Greek question mark.

    • The first digit must always be ‘1’.
    • Next field should be the IBAN of the credit account.
    • Next field should be the customer’s tax identification number (TIN).
    • The next digits are the amount of the transaction (number with two decimals comma separated).
    • Next, you may enter up to 40 characters with comments for the entry.

    The fields must be limited with a Greek question mark.

    Example: Let’s say that you want to credit account GR6208710600210114264158784 of a customer with TIN 099152456 with the amount of €1,131.12.

    This is an example of how file should look like:

  • How to create an .xls file

    For transfers to third-party accounts held with Pancreta Bank or with a domestic bank, the file must contain exactly 6 columns:

    • Column A must contain the bank swift code that is part of the IBAN of the credit account.

    • Column B must contain the IBAN of the account to be credited.
    • Column C must contain the tax identification number (TIN) of the beneficiary of the account to be credited.
    • Column D will contain the amount of the transaction. The amount may only have two decimals. Decimals must be separated only by “,” (comma).
    • Column E must contain the full name of the beneficiary of the account to be credited.
    • Column F must contain the comments for the deposit.


    * * The remittance via a multiple transactions file will be charged exclusively with ‘Shared Charges’.


    For payments to debt organizations, file must contain exactly 3 columns in the first sheet with the payments’ data:

    • Column A must contain the correct payment code.
      Attention!
      - For Assessed Tax Dues, the three parts of the payment code must be separated by the symbol “|”, e.g. 123456789|900115929|186019400056
      - For an e-administrative fee, the two parts of the payment code must be separated by the symbol “|”, e.g. 225761113|95809200040
    • Column B must contain the amount of the transaction. The amount may only have two decimals. Decimals must be separated only by “,” (comma).
    • Column C must contain the comments for the payment.
  • Conversion tool to upload multiple transactions file in .xml format

    Use the following steps to convert a file at www.pancretabank.gr website:

    • File Type: Select the file you want to covert to .xml (.txt, .csv, .xls). Attention! If you choose to upload an .xls file, you must also select the type of transaction à Transfers – Remittances or Payments, as well as the organisation you wish to make payment to, if you select Payments.
    • Total Number of Recipients: Fill in the total number of transactions you have imported in the file
    • Total Amount to be debited: Fill in the total sum of the file’s transactions, using a comma (,), e.g. 100,00.
    • Debtor IBAN: Fill in the IBAN of the account to be debited. Attention! The IBAN must belong to the user who will log in on Pancreta Online and will use the file.
    • Debtor Full Name/Company Name: Fill in the full name of the beneficiary of the account to be debited or the name of the company that holds the account to be debited.
    • Upload File: Select the file you want to convert to .xml.
